Omikron is one of the five cities under domes on the planet of Phaënon. The others are Karamaï, Moscoviensq, Sraosa and Yerubabel.[1]
In 5695, Ix decided to abolish all Multiplan contacts with the other cities and to live as an autarchy.
The game has a large living environment in real time 3D which has hundreds of pedestrians and vehicles that can be interacted with, with about 2 different male and female skins per area. The inhabitants of Omikron are called Omikronians, as opposed to Omikronites or other names that might have been coined.
Etymology[]
Omicron (literally "small o": όμικρον < ὂ μικρόν - ò mikrón, micron meaning 'small' in contrast to omega) is the 15th letter of the Greek alphabet. Omicron is used to designate the fifteenth star in a constellation group, its ordinal placement a function of both magnitude and position. Such stars include Omicron Andromedae, Omicron Ceti, and Omicron Persei.
In the system of Greek numerals Omicron has a value of 70. The upper-case letter of omicron (O) was originally used in mathematics as a symbol for Big O notation), but has fallen out of favor because omicron is indistinguishable from the Latin letter O and easily confused with the digit zero (0).
This letter is derived from the Phoenician letter ayin. In classical Greek, omicron represented the sound [o] in contrast to omega [ɔː] and ου [oː]. In modern Greek, omicron represents the mid back rounded vowel /o/. Letters that arose from omicron include Roman O and Cyrillic O.

- The temperature in Omikron is permanently maintained between 24° and 26.5°, or at exactly 28°[2] by the Random Meteorological Centers.
